DLC News
We are thrilled to introduce Ellacor, a groundbreaking technology that offers a solution to the issue of skin laxity and tightening. Ellacor is the first and only device designed to eliminate excess skin on a microscale, without scarring. DLC is among a select few practices in the country to offer this innovative treatment, and the only one in North Carolina. Ellacor provides a non-invasive procedure for individuals who are not yet ready for surgery or simply prefer a non-surgical approach.
We are excited to welcome Amy Rodriguez, PA-C to DLC!

Dr. Adigun with Amy Rodriguez, PA
Amy is a board-certified Physician Assistant and US Army veteran. She earned her Master of Medical Science from Wake Forest University Physician Assistant program in 2016 after earning her Bachelor of Science in Engineering Psychology from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 2006. Amy served 6 years of active duty, jumping out of airplanes as a Paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne Division stationed at Fort Bragg, NC, with several deployments dispersed throughout.
After serving in the Army, Amy’s path to practicing dermatology began while working as a dermatology medical assistant, where she assisted with surgical procedures and provided patient education regarding medications and treatment plans. Amy was inspired by dermatology providers and colleagues to develop her clinical practice and efforts around patient-centered skin care. Before joining the Dermatology & Laser Center of Chapel Hill, Amy worked at UNC Chapel Hill Campus Health Services, allowing her to care for the college patient population with various acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and skin conditions. One of her most significant points of pride was the initiative to bring Accutane (isotretinoin) treatments to UNC students. While there, she also honed her procedural skills, including many dermatologic procedures.
Amy lives in Chapel Hill with her loyal, furry, four-legged companion Penny. In her free time, she enjoys running, swimming, competing in amateur triathlons, and defending her title as Aunt of the Year. Most of the time, she is focused on finishing her book in time for the book club.

DAXXIFY™ – the long-lasting neuromodulator is at DLC!
Ready for long-lasting results? We are one of the first to offer DAXXIFY™, the only long-lasting frown line treatment powered by a peptide.
Results with DAXXIFY™ last on average 6 months and up to 9 months for some. If you want more time with less lines, call us today to schedule your appointment.
Dermatology appointments with Dr. Adigun are limited:
To make scheduling more reasonable, Dr. Adigun is no longer providing low-risk full body skin exams. As a highly trained procedural dermatologist, she will continue to care for patients in need of surgery, complicated nail problems, hair loss and cosmetic procedures.
We have three experienced providers who render full body skin exams, Karlee Wagoner, NP, Diana Walker, PA and Amy Rodriguez, PA. Karlee and Diana also provide aesthetic treatments.
We recognize this change is difficult but believe it will make it easier to see Dr. Adigun when you need her expertise.
Thank you!
