Injectable Fillers

As we age, the face naturally loses volume. Injectable fillers can help restore a look of fullness, with long-lasting results. They are an excellent way to rejuvenate the face, lips, and hands without invasive surgical procedures. Fillers also work to improve skin quality over time.

Hyaluronic Acid Fillers
Hyaluronic Acid is naturally occurring in the human body. In the skin, it attracts and maintains water. As we age, the skin will naturally loose volume. Hyaluronic acid works to address volume loss, filling face lines, folds, wrinkles, and thin lips. These injectables can also be used to fill in depressed scars.

Radiesse
Radiesse is a filler made of synthetic calcium hydroxyapatite, which stimulates the production of collagen. Calcium hydroxyapatite is a mineral that occurs naturally in bones. Radiesse can be used to contour the jaw, chin, and neck, and is also commonly used for hand rejuvenation. Results can last for up to a year.

Sculptra
Sculptra is a biostimulating filler for the face and body. It contains poly-L-lactic acid, which stimulates collagen production in the injected area resulting in a fuller, more youthful appearance. Commonly used in the décolleté (upper chest and cleavage), Sculptra improves the look of crepey skin and wrinkles. It can also be used around the mouth for smile and laugh lines. Results appear gradually over the treatment regime (typically three injections over the course of three to four months) and can last up to two years.

A board-certified dermatologist, practicing both general dermatology and cosmetic dermatology, Dr. Adigun will evaluate your needs and decide which filler is most suitable to achieve the optimal desired outcome.
