Neuromodulators

Neuromodulator injections, like Botox® Cosmetic, Dysport®, and Daxxify™ are among the most popular cosmetic treatments in the U.S. They work to diminish facial wrinkles and creases by temporarily relaxing the facial muscles, resulting in smoother, younger looking skin. In the same way, neuromodulators can work preventively, keeping the formation of fine lines and wrinkles at bay. Our goal is to give patients a refreshed and not “frozen” look, and we believe very strongly in the less-is-more approach.

Neuromodulators can:

• Prevent the formation of lines and wrinkles that are formed as a result of facial movements like smiling, squinting, frowning, or furrowing the brow
• Prevent existing lines and wrinkles from becoming deeper
• Soften the look of existing wrinkles
• Be used on lines between the eyebrows and across the forehead, around the eyes, mouth, and neck
• Neurotoxins can also be used to stop excessive sweating

How is Daxxify different than other neuromodulators?
The key differentiator of DAXXIFY™ is its staying power. DAXXIFY™, like Botox® Cosmetic and Dysport®, is a neuromodulator that targets the muscles which create dynamic wrinkles on the face. Botox® Cosmetic and Dysport® last for approximately 3 to 4 months. DAXXIFY™ results have been shown in clinical trials to last on average 6 months, with many patients maintaining results up to 9 months*.

*At least 50% of patients in clinical studies had no or minor frown lines 6 months after treatment. Between 3% and 5% of patients in clinical studies had no or minor frown lines 9 months after treatment. In other safety studies, between 5% and 17% of patients still had noticeable improvement 9 months later.
