PRO-NOX

DLC is not offering Pro-Nox at this time. We look forward to offering Pro-Nox to patients again once we enter Phase III of reopening during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Enhance your experience with Pro-Nox!

Aesthetic treatments can be uncomfortable, and make some people feel anxious and nervous. Your comfort and care is a priority to us at DLC, which is why we offer PRO-NOX as an option during treatment to enhance your experience. PRO-NOX is similar to what some dental offices use to reduce anxiety and pain, but it’s also different because, with PRO-NOX™, you control how much you breathe in.

The PRO-NOX™ Nitrous Oxide Delivery System is a pneumatically driven gas system designed to deliver a 50% Oxygen and 50% Nitrous Oxide mixture to reduce the intensity of pain and anxiety, safely and effectively. PRO-NOX™ is inhaled through a disposable mouthpiece that the patient holds, taking effect almost immediately. PRO-NOX™ is self-administered, so you can be comfortable with the amount of gas you are receiving and can adjust it based on your individual needs.

As of May 2020, PRO-NOX has added an extra layer of protection to their tubing due to the COVID-19 pandemic. There are bacterial and viral filters with HCH combination that can be added between the patient mouthpiece and hose. This gives an added level of safety from both the inhaled and exhaled gases to the patient and all in the treatment room.

These specific filters have been independently tested and proven to be highly effective in providing trusted protection against bacterial and viral cross contamination. The viral test efficiency for these Pharma Mini filters is >99.99%. The testing occurs at the accredited Nelson Labs within the USA, who are global leaders in laboratory testing and advisement.
